There are currently two opportunities for teams to earn money towards their challenge participation: $3,000 Team Sponsorship for AWIM Volunteers and $1,000 Travel Stipend.

$3,000 Team Sponsorship for AWIM Volunteers
The Learn Twice Special Initiative is changing up their program for the 2020 season by offering a $3,000 USD sponsorship for SAE AeroConnect Challenge teams who apply after they complete a volunteer commitment in an AWIM classroom, which is a minimum of 30 total hours by the team members. $1,000 Travel Stipend
SAE is offering a $1,000 USD travel stipend to the first 20 teams that register for the SAE AeroConnect Challenge. Registration is now open until December 2, 2019. With your registration, you will gain access to attend SAE’s 2020 AeroTech Event in Pasadena, California, where you can network and develop relationships within the international aerospace industry.
