Are you ready to Volunteer?

In 2019, SAE International launched the Emerging Technology Series, which challenges teams to collaborate, design, and defend solutions to mobility problems using emerging technology embedded into larger SAE International professional events. In 2022, the Emerging Technology Series will grow to four independent challenges.
SAE International is seeking Key Volunteer Leads to assist in developing our Emerging Technology Series competitions. Primary responsibilities for Key Volunteer Leads include developing problem statements for the competitions in the Emerging Technology Series (ETS), technical document review, and RQA Management. We are seeking 2-3 Key Volunteer Leads for each of the four competitions.

Descriptions:
• MobilityForward Challenge: Through the SAE MobilityForward Challenge universities will think critically about emerging technology issues relevant to the mobility industry.
• DesignEssential Challenge: Through the SAE DesignEssential Challenge universities will think critically about developing and implementing inclusive systems which are accessible to the most diverse range of people possible.
• UtilityAdvance Challenge: Through the SAE UtilityAdvance Challenge universities will think critically about emerging technology issues relevant to the commercial mobility industry.
